Peppa Pig World will be opening the park gates on Sunday 12th February for the Half Term holidays!

Staff at Paultons have been busily preparing the Park since Christmas ready for welcoming guests. Peppa Pig and friends will be entertaining families this February Half  Term. Peppa Pig World is set in nearly 3 acres of Peppa themed fun, Peppa Pig world features 7 exciting rides including Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight,Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, George’s Dinosaur Adventure, Grandpa’s Little Train Ride. You can even ride in a’cloud’ around Windy Castle! Peppa Pig World also features a huge indoor play area, George’s SpaceshipPlayzone and superb animated attractions. Peppa Pig World is home to Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy café and Peppa’sToy Shop, the largest (and only!) dedicated Peppa Pig shop in the World!

Outside of Peppa Pig World the fun keeps on going at Paultons. You will be able to enjoy great favourites such as thefabulous EDGE, Stinger Rollercoaster, Raging River Ride, the swirling Kontiki and not forgetting the awesome Cobra, Paultons biggest rollercoaster yet. For the little ones there are the beautiful garden-themed Trekking Tractors, the Digger Ride, Jumping Jack and the Flying Frog rollercoaster. There’s also a chance to grab a sneak peak at the construction of Paultons thrilling hot new ride MAGMA. Young adventurers will have to wait till Easter 2012 before exploring MAGMA’s molten rock caverns and discovering thejurassic secret entombed below. Paultons and Peppa Pig World  will be open from 10am every day between Sunday 12th February to Monday 20th February. The Park will then be open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays thereafter and daily after Friday 23rd March.

Great news Peppa fans! Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, has been named as the public’s favourite theme park  by consumer champion Which?.

In it’s 2011 “UK’s Favourite Tourist Attractions” survey, Which? Travel reveals that family-owned Paultons Park in Hampshire topped the list of nation’s theme parks by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Which? Travel found that Paultons Park is an especially popular destination for families with younger children, and suggested that it is even more so since the addition of Peppa Pig World. The October issue of Which? Travel magazine states, ‘Paultons Park was particularly lauded for its suitability for small children.’

We are absolutely thrilled with the news that we received the highest customer score out of all the major UK theme parks. Paultons has always been an extremely popular family destination, but our decision to create Peppa Pig World has introduced new fans to the Park and provided a unique and magical experience for families visiting with younger children. Feedback from our guests is by far the best way of finding out if we are delivering a quality family entertainment experience and we have received many positive comments from people who have visited from far and wide, so it is great news that the consumers Which? surveyed  rated the Park so highly.

The flowers and planting around Peppa Pig World and the rides are looking absolutely fantastic and really add to the magical atmosphere of the land.

(below) There is an explosion of colour with pink, purple, yellow and orange lighting up the landscape as you wander around the park.

(below) The orange Begonias help to create the muddy puddles effect.

Planting and bedding began back in 2010, with seedlings and shrubbery designed to enhance the landscape of Peppa Pig World and develop and grow with the seasons.

Hello Peppa fans!

So, you have taken to the sky in Peppa’s Big Balloon ride, climbed the dizzy heights of the Windy Castle and taken a ride on Grandpa Pig’s Little Train… It must be time for lunch!

Pop into Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy Cafe for a pit stop. Here you can find an array of tempting snacks, thick shakes, delicious treats and drinks guaranteed to keep little piggy’s happy until home time. Pick and mix a kid’s lunch bag by choosing any 5 items and a piece of fruit, from carrot sticks to chocolate spread sandwiches. To keep you busy whilst chomping, every kid’s lunch bag also comes with free activities and colouring crayons.

For those of you who like something sweet, why not give your taste buds a treat: we have delicious muffins available including juicy blueberry, sweet raspberry or tempting chocolate.

Washed down of course with a thick and creamy hot chocolate and marshmallows…

So it’s back to the rides and an adventure with George’s Dinosaur, a Helicopter Flight with Miss Rabbit, into the garage for Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, then off on a Boat Trip with Grandpa Pig. Now it’s time for Ice Cream! Stop by Miss Rabbit’s Ice Cream Parlour and choose from blue vanilla, red strawberry or chocolate.

Refuelled? Ok you are now ready to dive inside George’s Spaceship Playzone for galaxies of indoor fun. Rocket to the moon and zoom out of the tube slide, before slipping off your shoes for the soft play zone, with the rope maze and moonwalk ramp. Before leaving drop into Peppa’s Toy Shop and you can find some treats to take home with Princess Peppa’s tasty chocolate Beauty Set.

Lolly pops, doughnuts, popcorn, freshly made sandwiches, tea, bean 2 cup coffee and a selection of fizzy pop and still cold drinks are also available in Peppa Pig World. Paultons Park also has two main restaurants – The Station and Wagoner’s, serving a variety of hot meals and cold snacks, in a family friendly atmosphere. We cater for a wide range of tastes, grab a snack before you hit the rides or take a break at lunch with a satisfying jacket potato to keep you going until home time. Kiosks and cabins are also located throughout Paultons Park where you can enjoy quick snacks including toasted sandwiches, pasta, hot dogs and ice cream.

Well that is enough to make anyone’s tummy rumble!

It’s official Peppa Pig World at Paultons Family Theme Park opened its gates at the weekend to lots of adoring Peppa fans!

Peppa and George took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the park and we have already had many lovely emails and comments from guests who travelled from far and wide.

 GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! What more can i say, our Daughter had the best day EVER!!! I’m the coolest Daddy for getting the tickets……….we were the FIRST through the gates too!!! Travelled @ 0530 to get to you and it was well worth it!!! Got some great pictures and Molly was totally shocked! She was soooooooooo tired that 20 minutes into our journey home she was fast asleep! Well done Paultons Park, totally recommended to all!!!

Hi Peppa Fans!

The big day is nearly upon us! Peppa Pig World opens this Saturday 9^th April 2011 just in time for the Easter holidays.

After months of hard work, preparation & building through all types of weathers Peppa Pig World is now ready to open its gates on Saturday. Our Golden Ticket Winners, Season Ticket Holders, members of the Media and the Celebrity world have already had a sneaky peek and the feedback so far has been wonderful!

Here are a few of the comments we have receieved so far:

‘’I just wanted to send you a HUGE THANK YOU for our wonderful day out on Saturday. It was as if xmas had come early, my 5yr daughter woke me at 4am to say is it time yet!!
