See the Magical Rainbow Path… and Spot Peppa’s Family Campervan!

Friday, February 11th, 2011

Hi Peppa Fans!

Can you believe there are only 56 days to go until the opening of Peppa Pig World!! We are very excited, are you…?

We have some super new photographs to show you today as we gradually reveal a little more of how the theme park is developing, we hope you like them!

Below you can see the magical rainbow path winding through Mr Potato’s Playground, with the Windy Castle ride standing tall against the blue sky in the background:

…And here is a sneaky peak of a little more of Peppa Pig World as it looks from the exit of George’s Dinosaur Adventure.  Those of you with an eagle eye will be able to spot Peppa’s shiny yellow family campervan in the distance,  outside of the grass roof building.  In the foreground you can see the brightly coloured carriages and some of the track of Grandpa Pig’s Little Train Ride.  Grandpa Pig hasn’t arrived to drive the train yet!  Look up to the sky to see Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight and The Windy Castle too.

We will have more pictures coming soon as the building of Peppa Pig World here at Paultons Park enters its final stages in preparation for the grand opening on Saturday 9th April 2011.

Remember, Paultons is open from Sunday 20th February so if you fancy having a look at the Peppa Pig World development site from the outside then why not pay us a visit over half-term – there are over 50 different rides and attractions in the existing Park to enjoy!

See you soon

Peppa Pig World Update and Fantastic New Pictures!

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Hi Peppa fans!

Is it really only a week ago since we last posted an update on progress being made with the construction of Peppa Pig World? Time seems to be going so quickly with so much going on!

Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride and Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight are now in place and look really amazing!!  These two rides are currently being tested along with Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip and Windy Castle.

The tracks for Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, Grandpa Pig’s Train Ride and George’s Dinosaur Adventure are also in place with the cars, dinosaurs and train arriving next month – we can’t wait to see them!

The team are taking advantage of the nice weather and moving soil to build some Peppa Pig ‘hills’ and laying out the pathways now all the rides are  installed. With Peppa Pig buildings springing up all over the site you can really start to see how fantastic Peppa Pig World will look when finished.

The inside of the large grass-roofed building is very nearly ready for George’s Spaceship Play Zone which is due to arrive in a few weeks time. We are busy getting the area ready where Mr. Potato’s Playground will be built – also starting in the next week or so.

Remember to keep visiting the Peppa Pig World website for all the latest news and updates.

The First Rides Have Arrived! Just 199 Days to Go…

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

It’s another exciting day here at Paultons Park, with just 199 days to go until the opening of Peppa Pig World and the first rides arrived at the park this morning!

Travelling over 350 miles from Germany by channel tunnel and lorry, the first piece of the Windy Castle arrived and was placed in Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. Standing over 40ft high the Windy Castle ride will include clouds for you to sit in that will be rotated around and up and down the tower - great fun for all ages!

In addition we also saw the arrival of the centre piece for Grandpa’s Boat Trip. The technical theming team are also busy working on Muddy Puddles and the outside of Grandpa’s Little Train Station.

We hope you like the pictures - keep an eye out for more rides arriving next week and don’t forget to check our Facebook site for all the latest updates! www.facebook.com/paultonspark
