We have been out and about talking with guests in Peppa Pig World to discover which rides are the most popular, who is the real star of the cartoon Peppa Pig and just how far have visitors travelled from to get here…?!
The Jessop Family from Fareham in Hampshire:
What is your favourite ride and why?
“I like the Dinosaur ride as you get to see the volcanoes smokin” (Jamie,5)
“The Big Balloon ride caus you get to go up up and awaaaayyy!” (Jessica,5)
“I have to say I did get a little dizzy but really enjoyed the Windy Castle” (Mary, Mum)
“It’s got to be Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, all us Dads like cars’’ (Gavin, Dad)
The Richardson Family on holiday from Cornwall in Devon:
Who is your favourite character in Peppa Pig and why?
“Miss Rabbit!!!!! She is amazing and everywhere all of the time….a bit like Mummy here : )” (Julie, Mum)
“I like Peppa the most, caus she is a pinky pig” (Amy, 5)
“No way, George, George George and his green Dinosaur” (Scarlet, 6)
“Miss Rabbit is pretty amazing, but it’s got to be Grandpa Pig, a very wise Pig he is” (John, Dad)
The Curtis Family from Brighton in Sussex:
What have you enjoyed the most about your visit today?
“Lilly our little 4 year old has been splashing around in the Muddy Puddles to cool off, as the weather has been so sunny today!” (Jackie, Mum)
“Yes and Joshua our son has been into the indoor George’s Spaceship Playzone playing with the musical instruments, I think he could be a drummer when he grows up…” (Andy, Dad)

My daughter (2) loves driving daddy pig’s car! She wasn’t so keen on the helicopters as it too stop/start.

We loved Grandpa Pig’s train as we could all sing along and wave at the same time! We had an epic trip last week, from Worcester to the Isle of Wight then a day trip to see Peppa from the Island. So very, very worth it though, best day out ever.

We felt the same about the helicopters, longest queue all day yesterday and very stop/start. Liked dinosaur adventure though and my 4 year old loved it all!

we also felt exactly the same about the helicopters. but we loved all the other rides. my 3 year old cried when we left, even though we’d been there for over 6 hours. we will definitely return.

i would like to say what a wonderful day we had at peppa pig world, the long journey was worth the smile and joy it brought to my 19 month old son. the park is fabulous and the rides are great fun, can not wait till he is a little bit older so we can go on the dinosaur ride together.

We visited the end of April, just after the park opened. We had our 8yr old son and 5yr old daughter with us. The rides were fab, yes we queued but only for about 2 or 3 mins for each ride…the car ride we found the longest that was about 5 or 6 minutes but it was fine, theres so much to look at you dont really notice.
The shop was excellent, good few things you dont see in the local shops (and it wasnt over priced).
Food places were also good…queued yes, but well worth the 5 min wait as its all cooked fresh. The indoor play and eating area is a god send cause you can eat in peace then let the kids go play while you take a 2min break.
We got there about 30mins after opening time and left when it closed, the car park wasnt too bad consiering it was closng, the cars kept moving. All in all a good day…we will defnantly go again next year!

I am 2 and loved my day with mummy at Peppa Pig World, most of all I loved the grandpa pigs ride, the daddy pigs cars mr potatoes play park. I did get a bit bored waiting in the queues. We went on a sunny Friday when all the big kids were at school and it was still very busy. I hope it stays as fun, clean and fresh as it is now. Possibly one of the best days out I’ve had in my little life so far; we will be back

We have just returned from a two day break to Peppa Pig World! It was fantastic. The park is wonderful, really enjoyed the dinosaur rides, windy castle, and Miss Rabbit’s helicopter ride. We all loved Peppa Pig’s house and the schoolroom – Nanny and Grandad love Miss Gazelle. It really feels like you have stepped into an episode. Kim was very brave and met Peppa and kissed her on her nose! Grandad took over 400 photos! we will be back! x

We booked a Paultons break for our sons 2nd birthday and visited the park tues and weds, got a bit wet as weather was rather rainy, the park was great and peppa pig world is lovely, the only thing that i wasn’t impressed with was the ride staff, they never smiled or welcomed us,they were grumpy and we felt as if they just didn’t want to be there, although i do remember 2 elder men that were friendly, it was the train ride and teacups which weren’t in peppa pig world..it was such a shame as it cost over £200 for break and fuel so a smiley face would have made it more welcoming, on the first day near the end of the day we went into the peppa pig school house and we were the only people there and the girl was just sat behind a desk reading a paper or something and totally ignored us..so please tell them a smile goes a long way…don’t know if anyone else felt the same?

just got back from a full weeked at peppa pig world and it was FANTASTIC well worth the 6 hr drive there! The whole park was amazing, very clean, safe (could leave your pram and belongings just in sight with out a worry also they have lost child stickers, however i would suggest wrist bands as stickers fall off to easily), its extremely child friendly and well planned out, even the toilet seats. The staff are all quite young so i presume it is just their holiday job, we had smiles but as i have read before they arent in hurry to get you on ad off rides!!! there are bound to be queues but in two days we managed to get on every ride with out spending all day waiting and in between there is lots to do. Mr potatos playground is fabulous even though always busy there is plenty of space and the muudy puddles area is heaven for the kids i would suggest another swing, thers just 1 !!! there are plenty of seats tables toilets and even with out the peppa pig bit paultons park is lovely family place to visit. We only spent money on food and the shop if you take all your own food u dont need to spend loads. My little girl had been waiting for weeks and thouroughly enjoyed it and seeing mr tumble topped it all off some people camped out for hours but we went an hour or half hour before start and stil got perfect veiw he comes into audience so everone gets their chance such a lovely and professionl man, and the atmosphere is so unique. Peppa pig world is stil in its early days i just hope it is kept a s good as new with the bright colours and clean environment but looking at the rest of paultons park am sure it will be, thank you paultons and peppa we will defo be back next year x

I spent the weekend at the park taking my 2 year old daughter who is completly mad about Peppa Pig. She loved every minute of it and was in complete heaven for the 2 days we were there. There were queues for the rides but there was so much to look at my little one didn’t get fed up. She loved meeting Peppa and George probably made her weekend. If I was to make any recommendation it would be to have more characters walking around the park throughout the day. A fantastic idea and I’m sure we will be back to visit soon may even try and come for the special Christmas Winter Wonderland.

took my little girl who is 2 to peppa pig world on the first of july and i must say wow she loved it, i think all the kids there were having a fab time, she didnt undertsand you had to que up and would get grumpy every time the ride left with out her but its something she has to learn! Her daddy won her a big peppa pig aswell, she was very happy with that! we had a fantastic day and i would love to bring her back.

We absolutely loved it, three toddlers just under 2 – FANTASTIC day out. All the rides are ideal for youngsters and adults and close together so very convenient to jump on and off – pushchairs could be parked nearby and safely left.
We thought the animation came alive in all the rides remarkably well and we will be returning for many a visit.
The only thing we would say is for the photo ops, many more pictures would be bought if the staff interacted with the children to make them laugh : )

My boys loved the place, luckily we got to visit out of the school holidays. The only downside was the wait for the rides. The staff were letting helicopters go around half full. After 25 mins we had to leave the queue. I can’t imagine how nasty the queues are going to be during the holidays. Hopefully we can get back to this ride on another visit.
The dinosaur ride was easily our favourite, even that had some complicated rider height requirements, this resulted in parents suprised to have to ride a dinosaur around themselves if they want to queue up with their kids. This takes up a kids space and slows down the queue. I suggest checking you kids height on this one.
If you have a stroller i would try and park it either outside the world or just park it in one place and leave it until you leave peppa pigs world.
Peppa pigs world is a great addition to Paultons. Well done for adding it without jacking up the price of admission.

We took our 2 year old son and he loved it! It’s great to find a theme park suitable for toddlers. He loved the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, so much so that we had to drag him out. And was very excited about meeting peppa and george! The rides were brilliant and the que’s weren’t too long. Highly recommended!!

Enjoyed a wonderful day out at Peppa Pig world with our 2 year old grandaughter Amelia on 24th july. Prices resonable and park was very suitable for toddlers. Mr potatoes play area was fantastic and we has a job getting her out of it. There is a photo opportunity area, where the park will take your child photo or you can take your own (thought the ride pictures the park take were a bit expensive at £7 a picture) Lots of picnic area .Only moan i have is that i got bit to death probably while walking through the dinosaur part in the woods! I would highly Recomend this park , its colourful, fun and a good day out.

my boy who is 3 loved it we went on all of the rides and the shop was fantastic with loads of toys we havent seen before. my only complaint is i thought the cafe at peppa pig world was very poor not much option at all and £7.00 a picture was quite expensive but still a great great day out hope to go again some time but will be taking a packed lunch this time.

Hi Alastair, thank you for your comments and glad you had a great time! Items available in Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy Cafe include: Pick and mix a kid’s lunch bags – choosing any 5 items and a piece of fruit, including a drink carton, carrot sticks, yoghurts, fruit packs and sandwiches. These also include free activities and colouring crayons for the little ones. Other items include sandwiches, crisps, thick shakes, hot chocolate with marshmallows and a variety of muffins including blueberry, raspberry and chocolate. Paultons Park also has two main restaurants serving hot and cold meals. The Peppa Pig World toy shop has one of the widest selections of Peppa Pig themed toys, games and gifts in the world and prices for items start from under £5. Kind regards.

Had a fab time at peppa pig world, was amazed that the smaller rides (the types found at shops) were free, my daughter got on one and just as i was explaining to her that we couldn’t pay for her to go on, she pressed the button and was very pleased with herself. My 2 year old daughter has spoken about it EVERY day since our visit in … May !!! Can’t wait to come back again, even though we travel from liverpool. One question ? When can we book for next year ? ; )

I went with my daughter 22 months and stepdaughter aged 6. I found that waiting a hour in queus was a bit much for a toddler and some older ones too. Maybe there is a way of distracting the children while taking them on rides? maybe a little act wandering around ? also a lot of people were talking about it would be easier to have a ticket system with times. so people are able to go around the park while they wait. Another thing is they have exactly the same icecreams in Daddy pigs cafe and at Miss rabbit ice cream parlour the only thing you do have different is the Whippys but surely as its Peppa pig world there should be some sort of peppa pig ice cream or drinks? One of the things we were really looking forward to was the ice cream from Miss rabbit ice cream parlour, it was a bit dissapointing, Nevertheless we enjoyed our day and wanted to inform you on things you could improve on.

we brought our daughter to visit peppa pig world on the 5th August as a treat for her 3rd birthday and we can all say we were not disappointed it was BRILLIANT
her face had a huge smile on all day and loved it and couldnt stop screaming when she saw Peppa pig and George she was that excited!.. she was abit un-happy that we couldnt take her on all the rides as the queue’s were very big but that didnt stop us enjoying ourselves… we will most certainly be returning!! brilliant place guaranted to have happy children

We visited Peppa Pig World last Monday, it was a really hot day. I was disappointed at the lack of shade in the queuing areas, I have a fair skinned child and we only stayed a couple of hours and only managed to get on two rides as the lines were so long, made worse by the fact that ride attendants were not fill up the seats on the rides!!!
Not only would covered queuing areas be good for shade also shelter from rain on our typical British summer days!!!
I would have loved to have stayed all day and gone on all the rides, it was a disappointing day and expensive for a couple of hours!

On August 8, 2011 at 12:41 pm
Hi Rebecca. thank you for your feedback. Queues will not be as short during the school holidays, however they are quieter towards the end of the day. The ride attendants do fill the seats on the rides depending on how big family groups are. Umbrellas are available from our gift shops if guests require shade & protection from the sun, hats and sun cream are also available if required. Kind regards,

hi went to day over Easter weekend.
got there around 10.30 as only live down the road, and was parked in section E which was not bad.
sadly i was very disappointed in peppa pig world i expected it to b busy but we waited with a 3 and a 4 year old over 45 mins for each ride each time it was stupid! the fact we waited for 45 mins for each ride and people with blue wrist bands could just walk on i think that was not fair for people who had cued for 45 mins.
i think the park need to look at it this either limit the people who come in the park or have more rides.
i think you should also have a buggy park cause people were leaving the buggy’s in the way.
i think you need to look at your prices we got there at 10.30 went on 3 rides and left peppa world around 1.45 we wasted the whole day u need to have different prices we did not have time to go around both parks and the fact we had to pay £24 for a 3 year old i think is disgusting.
i think you need to look at a different system over busy periods.

hi we went over the Easter holiday got there around 11 am. we were parked right at the back of the park . i was very disappointed with peppa pig world i expected it to be busy but we had 2 wait up 2 an hour for each ride with a 3 year old a 9 year old and a 5 month old. the price to get in to the park is a rip off a 3 yr old and a 9 yr old paying the say price as an adult and an oap came with us and had 2 pay 19.00 pound just to come in to the park with us i think it is just silly. and the food courts around peppa pig world were dirty and the toilets were filthy toilet roll all over the toilets. dirty baby nappies were just on the floor don’t think they were checked at all. dont think i would be going there again.

Great day out, but I was so disappointed that you don’t do the character photograph opportunities like they do at Disneyland etc with the real peppa and george. The plastic characters are nowhere near as exciting.
