The Construction Continues…

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

Hello Peppa Pig fans,

Lots more has been going on at the construction site of Peppa Pig World at Paultons Theme Park over the last couple of weeks.

With nearly all of the rides now in place and almost all of the buildings built we are now able to start on the landscaping of Peppa Pig World. This involves kerbing the pathways and making sure the levels are all correct as well as fencing and building the grassy mounds. The Paultons’ gardening team are now busy setting out the areas where the planting will take place.

The large patio area in front of the main grass-roofed building has started to have the block paving laid which will look fantastic when finished with all the tables and chairs in place – and watch out for the duck pond appearing soon! The finishing touches to the main building are almost now complete and the equipment for George’s Spaceship Playzone starts to be installed next week.

(Below) George’s Spaceship Playzone will be inside the curved roofed building

Peppa Pig World is really now starting to take shape – check back soon for more  updates.

Is it really only a week ago since we last posted an update on progress being made with the construction of Peppa Pig World? Time seems to be going so quickly with so much going on!

Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride and Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight are now in place and look really amazing!!  These two rides are currently being tested along with Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip and Windy Castle.

The tracks for Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, Grandpa Pig’s Train Ride and George’s Dinosaur Adventure are also in place with the cars, dinosaurs and train arriving next month – we can’t wait to see them!

The team are taking advantage of the nice weather and moving soil to build some Peppa Pig ‘hills’ and laying out the pathways now all the rides are  installed. With Peppa Pig buildings springing up all over the site you can really start to see how fantastic Peppa Pig World will look when finished.

The inside of the large grass-roofed building is very nearly ready for George’s Spaceship Play Zone which is due to arrive in a few weeks time. We are busy getting the area ready where Mr. Potato’s Playground will be built – also starting in the next week or so.

Remember to keep visiting the Peppa Pig World website for all the latest news and updates.
