Hello Peppa Fans! We have some exciting news for you if you are looking forward to celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next month…

The little Piggy will be meeting the Queen in a brand new special television episode airing during the Jubilee bank holiday weekend in the UK on Monday 4^th June at 8.15am on Channel Five’s milkshake. Viewers will have another chance to catch the episode on Nick Jr. where it will be shown at 6pm on the 4^th June and again on Tuesday 5^th June at 8am, 12pm and 5.30pm. We are all very excited here at Peppa Pig World!

In the upcoming episode, The Queen, Miss Rabbit is selected to receive an award for all the hard work she does and Peppa and friends accompany her on an unforgettable visit to the Palace where they meet the Queen.

Peppa Pig will also be joining the presenter of Channel 5’s Milkshake in the studio on Monday 4^th June as part of their Jubilee celebrations. Nick Jr. will be celebrating the festivities on-air with a special Princesses Weekend on Saturday 2^nd and Sunday 3^rd June from 12 – 6pm when the channel will showcase royal-related episodes of its star shows. Prior to the television broadcast, The Queen will also be released on DVD on 21^st May and a book based on the episode will be published by Ladybird on 3^rd May.

To co-incide with the television broadcast during the Jubilee bank holiday weekend, a range of fun party and activity assets will be available for children and parents to download for free from the official Peppa Pig website www.peppapig.com. Families keen to host their own Jubilee parties will be able to download Peppa Pig royal themed colouring sheets, party invitations and guides to create your own cut out and keep bunting, flag and party hat.

If you have not yet visited Peppa Pig World theme park or you want to remind yourself of all of the great rides and attractions here, you can now take a 360 degree virtual tour right in your own home using Google Street View!

Google Maps with Street View lets you explore places through 360-degree street-level imagery. You can take a look at the rides, attractions, or plan your next trip to the Park.

To view this amazing tool follow the instructions below:

• Search for ‘Paultons Park’
• Grab the orange ‘pegman’ icon in the top left hand corner of the map and drop him on one of the blue lines over Paultons Park.

Using the mouse on your computer you can then navigate your way around the Park, changing direction and walking as if you are in Peppa Pig World! You can also explore the rest of Paultons Park with its 60 rides and attractions including, The Cobra, EDGE, Stinger and other family rides.

The panoramic photographs were taken by one of Google’s special Trikes as seen in the video below. On the vehicle there are 9 directional camera’s for 360 degree views at a height of around 8 feet tall. The trike is cycled in and around as many paths as possible at each location taking high quality images along the way. The photographs are then stitched together to create the street view feature.

Peppa Pig World and Paultons Park are proud to support Tommy’s – Peppa Pig’s chosen charity. Tommy’s exist to save babies’ lives by funding research and providing information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. Peppa and her family have helped to raise over £900,000 for Tommy’s since 2005.

Tommy’s Baby Races are a series of fundraising events that are being held throughout July to raise money and awareness for the charity.  Each race is 8km and are for parents to run or power walk with their baby in their buggy. The routes all follow paths perfect for buggies in beautiful parks. No Baby or Buggy? Then fear not you can still take part! These are events for the whole family; you can walk or run and children can join in by cycling or scooting alongside.

The events take place in beautiful, child-friendly venues across the UK in July 2012. There is an entry fee per adult and it includes a free t-shirt and goody bag after the event. Every penny you raise will go towards Tommy’s research and information programmes, which aim to prevent premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. Race locations include:

If you like watching Peppa Pig on Channel 5, Nick Jr. or on DVD then you may have also heard of the popular children’s television cartoon Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The Little Kingdom is home to Princess Holly and her best friend Ben Elf. Holly is a young fairy who is still learning how to do magic properly. Sometimes her spells don’t work out quite right. Ben is an Elf. Elves don’t do magic but they are very good at making things, especially toys.

The Olympic Games are nearly upon us here in the UK and Ben and Holly have been taking part in their own events in ‘Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom: The Elf Games’ a brand new DVD featuring several episodes of the cartoon released on 14^th May 2012.

Ben is in training for the elf games. Holly wants to join in but the rules state there’s no flying or magic allowed… You can pre-order and buy the DVD now on Amazon. One of the hidden treasures waiting to be discovered when you visit the theme park is a place where you can truly magic yourself into Peppa’s world! Peppa’s Magic Photo Studio is a state of the art interactive green screen photography suite located adjacent to the entrance of George’s Dinosaur Adventure Ride in Peppa Pig World.

When you step inside the studio you will be greeted by one of the Paultons team and asked to choose which popular animated scene from the Peppa Pig television show that you would like to appear in.

Your choices include:

• Jumping up and down in Muddy Puddles with Peppa Pig, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig
• Riding in George’s Spaceship Rocket with Peppa Pig, Daddy Pig and Grandad Dog
• Splashing in the bathtub with George

Next up you stand in front of our special screen and look up at the monitors to reveal how you appear alongside the lovable characters! Remember to show off your best smile as the magical photograph is snapped.

Hello Peppa fans!

Peppa Pig is loved and adored by many children across the UK and the world now and some of them have very popular Mums and Dads too! Several UK celebrity parents have been enjoying a visit to the world’s only Peppa Pig theme park in Hampshire, England over the past few weeks and they have been kind enough to let us share with you some of their pictures.

Celebrity mummy and presenter of ITV1’s This Morning and BBC1’s The Voice UK Holly Willoughby visited most recently with her family and enjoyed seeing the cartoon come to life.

Holly also features on the popular ITV2 game show Celebrity Juice with host Keith Lemon aka Leigh Francis who visited during the Easter holidays.

Another mummy of two boys and star of reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother Nicola McLean recently took a trip to Peppa Pig World seen here outside of Peppa’s House.

Television and well loved comedian Michael Macintyre took some time off to enjoy the sights and sounds during March.

Business women, author, mummy and reality TV star Katie Price visited with her little ones and friend Michelle Heaton from Liberty X early this year. Soap stars Andrew Lancel (Coronation Street) and Shayne Richie (Eastenders) also stopped by to enjoy the rides.

Last year BBC Radio One DJ’s Sara Cox, Dave Vitty, Dominic Byrne and Zane Lowe visited with their children, Twist & Pulse danced on stage and Kerry Katona filmed her reality television series here. The opening preview event for Peppa Pig World saw Spice Girl Melanie C and television and music stars arrive including Tina O Brian, Natalie Cassidy, Clare Richards, Shaun Ryder, Cerys Matthews, Chanelle Hayes, Charlie Brooks, Lucy Benjamin, Natasha Kaplinsky, Rital Simmons, Samantha Womack and Tamara Beckwith!

The duck pond at Peppa Pig World has proved a surprising source of fundraising for the official supported charity of Peppa Pig, Tommy’s. Supervisors at Paultons have been collecting change that has been thrown into the pond throughout the 2011 season and collected an amazing £1483.34 for the Tommy’s charity.

Rowan MacMillan, Corporate Fundraising Manager for Tommy’s visited Peppa Pig World last month to be presented with a giant cheque from staff members who helped collect the money from the pond each morning and Peppa Pig herself.

Rowan MacMillan said: ‘We are delighted to be supported by Paultons Park and were amazed to hear that such a large amount of money had come out of the duck pond. The amount raised will go towards our on-going medical research into pregnancy and birth, helping to ensure that more babies are born healthy.

’Tommy’s mission is to give every baby the best chance of being born healthy by funding medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, and provide a free information service that educates all parents to-be about health in pregnancy.

Paultons also supports Tommy’s by selling unique collectable Peppa Pig badges which are available Peppa’s Toy Shop that raised an additional £10,000 for the charity in 2011.

Peppa Pig World will be opening the park gates on Sunday 12th February for the Half Term holidays!

Staff at Paultons have been busily preparing the Park since Christmas ready for welcoming guests. Peppa Pig and friends will be entertaining families this February Half  Term. Peppa Pig World is set in nearly 3 acres of Peppa themed fun, Peppa Pig world features 7 exciting rides including Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight,Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, George’s Dinosaur Adventure, Grandpa’s Little Train Ride. You can even ride in a’cloud’ around Windy Castle! Peppa Pig World also features a huge indoor play area, George’s SpaceshipPlayzone and superb animated attractions. Peppa Pig World is home to Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy café and Peppa’sToy Shop, the largest (and only!) dedicated Peppa Pig shop in the World!

Outside of Peppa Pig World the fun keeps on going at Paultons. You will be able to enjoy great favourites such as thefabulous EDGE, Stinger Rollercoaster, Raging River Ride, the swirling Kontiki and not forgetting the awesome Cobra, Paultons biggest rollercoaster yet. For the little ones there are the beautiful garden-themed Trekking Tractors, the Digger Ride, Jumping Jack and the Flying Frog rollercoaster. There’s also a chance to grab a sneak peak at the construction of Paultons thrilling hot new ride MAGMA. Young adventurers will have to wait till Easter 2012 before exploring MAGMA’s molten rock caverns and discovering thejurassic secret entombed below. Paultons and Peppa Pig World  will be open from 10am every day between Sunday 12th February to Monday 20th February. The Park will then be open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays thereafter and daily after Friday 23rd March.
